Where do we sleep? Accommodation
KBC Holland is located directly on the Welgelegen campsite in Workum. Here you will find our office, our shop, our rental and kite school.
You can stay directly on the campsite in tents, in rustic wooden huts, in a tree house, in a caravan or in a cosy Bed & Breakfast.
Activities Courses, equipment & spot info
You start the first day of your course or rental at 9.30 a.m. to register at the centre. We start punctually at 10 am. From 9.30 a.m. a hot coffee will be ready for you. You will be equipped with a wetsuit, neoprene shoes and a trapeze. Depending on the wind direction, we decide which spot we will meet.
You learn safely in the waiting area, in water with maximum depth for the hips and on soft ground. The Ijsselmeer is the most wind-resistant inland sea in Central Europe. The big advantage of this location is that there is no wind direction that is not kitable.
To make your first experiences unforgettable and safe, we train in one of our three nearby house spots: Hindeloopen, Mirns or Workum.
After your session, you can warm up in the infrared sauna.

Introductory course
- Basic course: 2-day beginners' course with a total of 10 hours of instruction
- In order to practice and internalize the learned movements, we work in the second part of the course with a lot of practical training time
8 days / 7 nights
Private training
- 3 hours of personal training with your own instructor who will take care of you and your partner every second: a personal way to learn and improve your skills
- You can choose to follow the courses with your own equipment or with the KBC rental equipment (complete equipment: 1 kite + board, 2 wetsuits and 2 harnesses)

Kite surfing in Holland - Kitecamp
- In a group of 4 to 6 participants, you will learn in 4 days all there is to know
- The course includes approximately 16 hours of practical and theoretical lessons, plus free practice time with free use of equipment (including wetsuit and harness)
- The camp is aimed at beginners and intermediates. Participants will be divided into groups according to their experience so that we can focus on their respective levels
- At the end of the camp, you will of course have the opportunity to take the official license exam with our VDWS instructors

Our advice impressions of 360° Kite
You will always find something to do here. On the terrace, a breakfast with fresh rolls (€ 12.50).
In summer in the outdoor swimming pool, on the meadow, in the evening at the bar with a wood-fired pizza. Every Saturday at the "Grill and chill" and then at the campfire (17,50 € incl. drink).
