They're all passionate about IKO certified and will help you progress to the level you want. Lessons are private or semi-private, and all equipment is provided and can be hired outside lessons.
You will have the chance to stay in our ecolodge which is literally a stone's throw from the beach. Through the large windows of your bungalows, you can see the freestylers do their best tricks while others have fun in the waves. We have the " seafront" which are closest to the water, while the " sea view "A little further back. You'll enjoy a magnificent view over your private terrace or directly from your bed. These are quality accommodation with everything you need to ensure perfect stay !
Thanks to the full board (drinks not included), you'll have the chance to sample a delicious French-Malagasy cuisine with the chef's refined touch. What's more, he is particularly keen to work with fresh local produceto offer you a wide range of copious creations. All in front of the spotlight, once again...

Where do we sleep? Accommodation
Situated in front of one of the most beautiful locations in the Sakalava Bayour ecoresort can accommodate up to 23 people. Built in 2020, it benefits from the latest equipment to make it easier to use. ideal stay. There's a very friendly atmosphere here, a bit like a big family.
We have 4 types of bungalow:
- Sea-view bungalows for 2 people (1 queen-size bed)
- Seafront bungalows for 2 people (1 queen-size bed)
- Seafront bungalows for 3 people (1 queen-size bed + 1 single bed)
- Seafront bungalows for 4 people (1 queen-size bed + 2 single beds)
They are all equipped in the same way:
- Surface area between 25m² and 30m².
- Private bathroom with separate WC
- Mosquito net and safe
- Private terrace with sofa
Wherever you are in the world, you have a sea view throughout our hotel.

This bay has nothing to be ashamed of when compared to the legendary spots ofEl Gouna or the Brazil.
Sakalava offers everything you need to know about sailing conditions. What's more, thanks to its configuration, it can accommodate all levels of kitesurfing and funboarding. It offers a vent on shore with a sandy bottom and a water level at pool level (at low tide). Beginners and freestylers will have fun on a smooth stretch of water, while the wave lovers will be able to go 500m from the beach to enjoy 1/2m of waves. And that's every day! However, the wingfoil course are done at high tide in front of our hotel, on the same spot.
Kitesurfing:
- Private lessons or group lessons of 1/6/10h.
- Coaching in advanced lessons available (freestyle + wave).
- Kite equipment hire available with optional breakage insurance and supervision.
- Downwind sailing available on request.
Wingfoil

All the necessary safety equipment is provided for each course. In private lessons you are alone with an instructor, while in semi-private lessons there are 2 of you.

April - the wind is becoming increasingly regular. Around 75 % windy days. Average 12 to 25 knots.
May to October - the wind has become constant, it doesn't stop. Around 99 % windy days. Average 20 to 30 knots, with peaks of 35 knots.
November - It's getting a bit calmer. Around 75 % windy days. Average between 18 and 25 knots.
December - end of the trade wind season, but there are still some great sessions to be had. Around 60 % windy days. Average between 10 and 20 knots
