Our kite camp consists of two houses located in Caleta de Famara: La Casa del Mar and Casa 55. Both houses are a few steps from the beach.
In Casa 55 there are 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin) with a shared bathroom, 1 double bedroom with a private bathroom, a kitchen with a sitting area and a spacious roof terrace which offers incredible views of the whole village and the mountains.
The terrace is a great place to sunbathe, do yoga, have breakfast in the morning or just relax in the evening after a good session.
Arriving at the camp from the airport: you can rent a car for about 100 €/week, you can rent a scooter (a bit more expensive than a car), you can take a bus (about 5 €, may take longer than the tourist flight to Lanzarote), you can take a taxi (about 35 €, takes about 25 minutes).
We do not offer meals in the camp. All our guests are welcome to cook in the surf houses (there are well-equipped kitchens and supermarkets nearby) or eat out in the village cafes and restaurants.
Depending on your preferences and wishes, you can spend between €25 and €100 a day, if you eat out 3 times a day. A cup of coffee in any bar in Famara costs about €1.
The lessons take place on Famara beach. We offer lessons at different levels, from beginners to advanced. There are up to 3 people per instructor in a course.
One lesson lasts 3 hours per day.
Each student has their own kite for the lesson.
All equipment is included in the price.
It is not the first choice to learn kitesurfing but it can be a very good option for a second trip to the Canaries for example.
It is also an opportunity to learn to surf and to explore this truly atypical island.
