Located on the paradisiacal beach of Sotavento in the Jandía Natural Park and with superb sea views, the complex boasts a magnificent 1455 m2 salt water, tropical pool and children's pool

Double room
Spacious double rooms of approximately 26 m² overlooking the hotel's inner courtyard or gardens. These rooms have a double bed or two single beds (on request upon arrival at the hotel). The rooms are decorated in a fresh and pleasant style, with warm lighting. They have a sofa bed for the third person, a small refrigerator, a secretary and the latest balcony furniture.

Suite with sea view and whirlpool
Fabulous suites to spend a few days in Fuerteventura. Large suites measuring up to 80m² with beautiful views of the sea and the idyllic Sotavento lagoon. They offer a double bed or two single beds, subject to availability.

The Sand beach of Sotavento with turquoise waters and endless sailing possibilities attracts windsurf and kitesurf lovers from all over the world, with pleasant air and water temperatures all year round and excellent wind conditions thanks to its geographical location. For this reason, the annual World Windsurfing Championship has been held here for more than 30 years, always in the same enclave, and the world's largest windsurfing school has been located here since 1984. windsurfing and kitesurfing.
The famous René Egli centre offers windsurfing and kitesurfing lessons and rentals directly on the beach and in the lagoon in front of the hotel Meliá Fuerteventura. It has two centres with countless facilities: the kitesurfing centre, which is located in an idyllic oasis in the hotel's palm grove, and the windsurfing centre, which was renovated in April 2014 and is only 200 m away. Both centres have wind-protected relaxation areas, freshwater showers, a private lifeguard service, changing rooms, a beach bar and free Wi-Fi.
The material used in the centres is completely renewed every 6-12 months to ensure that customers always have the latest products on the market. The following are used during the year:

- 250 Cabrinha kite boards
Whether you're a beginner or an advanced student, we offer courses for all levels - in small groups or one-to-one - and we have an exclusive license to teach in the lagoon (depending on the tides).
