On the Egyptian coast, the resort of Soma Bay is known for the quality of sailing it offers. Although there are many activities to do, kitesurfing, windsurfing and wingfoiling are the most popular. With turquoise waters, sunshine and wind to sail in, it doesn't take much to convince many riders to come from all over the world.
The spot is so big that we decided to divide it into two zones. One area for beginners and one for advanced and freestylers. This increases safety and allows everyone to have fun as they wish.
Our windsurfing centreof kitesurfing and wingfoil is located directly on the private beach of our hotel. Our wooden structure welcomes you with all the necessary comfort: terrace, relaxation area, bar, showers with hot water and toilets. Perfectly placed, you can also enjoy a small swimming or SUP area. For a limited number of guests we offer the possibility to store your navigation equipment if you don't want to carry it around.
For the 3 disciplines, we propose several course packages. Each of them is adapted to your level and needs whether in the form of private lesson or in semi-private. Our professional monitors The students use radio systems once they are on the water, and you can review your session on video. As safety is very important to us, helmets, life jackets and neoprene booties are available to all students. Once on the water there are safety boats never far from you.
Our magnificent hotel complex***** in which you will stay is only 400m from the centre! The building is surrounded by beautiful gardens decorated with pools and Greek statues. It has over 400 rooms, all of which are fully equipped with a balcony or terrace. As for the facilities of the complex, you will find no less than 6 themed restaurants, numerous bars, 2 large swimming pools, sports grounds and much more to discover. Our hotel offers you a a variety of room categories and suitesThere are a number of different types of rooms, from superior rooms to pool view rooms, Club rooms, and then junior suites, presidential suites, to the ultimate comfort of the Royal suites. I won't list them all, but you are sure to find the room that suits you.
They are all equipped private terrace or balcony, coffee and tea making facilities, air conditioning, minibar, multi-line telephones, hairdryer, etc.
Regarding the decoration of the premises, our best craftsmen have put their talent to work for a real life experiencebeautifully detailed wood carvings, pandanus weaving, mother-of-pearl carvings. Elaborate techniques that provide a profound sense of comfort at all levels of requirement.
We also open the doors for moments of relaxation in a peaceful and inspiring place. With our heated swimming pool, sauna, massage rooms, etc... There is plenty of time for your mind and body to recharge.

Activities Courses, equipment & spot info
The security is very important to us. We have divided into two areas our spot: the area reserved for beginners/teaching and the area reserved for freeride/experienced.
Each practice also has its own zone to avoid interfering with each other and creating accidents between practitioners. In addition, we have rescue boats who always keep an eye on those who are sailing.

Best time to visit The perfect months
Soma bay is one of the destinations where you can sail all year round. The weather conditions are ideal! It is always warm, the water temperature is pleasant and the wind is constant. If we have to choose a period when it is the least interesting to go, it is from December to March
