Several accommodation options are available.
Directly on our kitesurfing spot (Playas de Mayapo) :
- AIPIEN : It's a family hotel wayuu à Mayapo. Facilities include a restaurant and a private beach. The hotel offers single, double and family rooms. The atmosphere is very calm and private.
10 minutes from the spot :
- WATU KITE HOUSE The hotel offers rooms with terrace, private parking, restaurant and bar.
- ORION : This is a very attractive option in terms of value for money. Wayuu family very welcoming. Here, the family atmosphere prevails, which is perfect for discovering Colombian culture.
- MAYAPO KITE HOSTEL The level of comfort is more basic, but it's the perfect option for those on a budget.
Activities Courses, equipment & spot info
Our priority is to see you progress and kite alone in safety while having fun. To achieve this, we use the IKO method in the language of your choice: French, English or Spanish. Depending on your level, you will be given an IKO certificate. We're here to combine the good humour and family atmosphere of thekite school to make learning easier!
To put it simply, here are the stages from beginner to advanced:

OUR KITESURFING LESSONS :
- 12h package Ideal for beginners who want to become independent kitesurfers quickly. The 3 days will give you a better understanding of how kitesurfing works in theory and practice. Our IKO-certified instructors will make sure you learn step by step, while having fun!
- 8h package Kitesurfing : Perfectly suited to those with a basic knowledge of kitesurfing who want to progress. Our team will help you gain confidence, experience and consistency!
- 2-hour package This package is for those who want to discover this sport and are wondering: "Will I be able to connect with the wind? The initiation is perfect for a first step into the world of kitesurfing.
- Advanced lessons These one or two hour lessons will take you to the next level and help you master the tricks of your dreams. These lessons are adapted to advanced levels and our IKO team will be able to give you the best advice for successful downloops, back rolls and darkslides.
- Other packages are available, including duos (2 students - 1 instructor), rentals, downwinds, etc. Don't hesitate to contact our team to find the perfect package for you.

Best time to visit The perfect months
Conditions are ideal, with 20 to 35 knots. Most of the time, the wind is side-onshore. When it's side-offshore, we go kiting 15 minutes from the spot, at the lagoon.
Here, we can kite from December to September.
