Essaouira is called the city of the Trade winds "And not for nothing! The wind blows all year round and there are few times when the bay is empty of people. You'll have plenty of room to take your lessons, with the 3km-long beach. The spacious beach provides a perfect (kite) take-off area. The bay is protected by Mogador islandsThis makes it a predominantly flat spot.
Our kitesurfing school is certified IKOThis guarantees the quality and safety of your lessons. What's more, we offer courses for all levels. It's important for us to adapt to each individual so that we can accompany you at your own pace during each session. kitesurfing sessions. Courses are given in several formats: group, semi-private or private. It all depends on your needs and wishes. Lessons last approximately 3 hours, with a equipment loan so you don't have to. A briefing and debriefing are given per person to help you understand your progress. One thing's for sure, you'll be pleased with yourself by the end of the trip!
You will be staying in a flat which is located just opposite our kitesurf clubIt's very close to the spot. This means you'll be right on the spot and won't be tired from the road. The 90 m² flat offers all the comforts you need for your stay! If the flat is full, we can offer you accommodation in our hotel or Riad.
Ideal for familiesThis destination, just a few hours from France, is perfect if you want to get away from it all, while staying at home. at the gateway to Europe.
You will be accommodated in our flat which is located opposite the kitesurf club 2 steps from the spot, on the Essaouira Bay. The 90m² flat is comfortable and well-equipped. The lounge, living room, kitchen and small terrace are communal areas, which you will share with one or more other trainee(s). You will have your own private bedroom, bathroom and toilet. Moroccan breakfasts are served in a café opposite the club.
If the flat is full, we will offer you accommodation in our hotel or Riad. They are located close to the club and the spot, in a quiet area of the town ofEssaouira.
Surrounded by a wooded garden, each of the 14 rooms has its own private terrace and bathroom. Breakfast is served on the magnificent roof terrace. This is the a place for sharing and meeting other kitesurfers.
For the kitesurfing lessonsis a daily appointment at kitesurf club located on the bay of Essaouira, 300 m from your accommodation.
You'll meet Taher, the manager, who will explain how the week will run and plan your lessons. You'll be kitted out at the club and taken to the spot with your instructor.
The kite sessions last 3 hours and you'll progress day by day with the help of a qualified instructor, who will help you to progress at your own pace. The club is IKO certified, International Kiteboarding OrganizationYou'll learn to kite using a certified methodology. You can obtain your IKO certificate at the end of the course.

Average temperatures range from 18°C (January) to 22°C (July).
A windless day?
If the wind is not present every day during your stay, the lessons will be combined on the wind forecast days. 2 sessions can be scheduled per day. If all the booked lesson times cannot be completed, the missed sessions will be replaced by surf sessions.
Off day
Essaouira is a tourist destination as well as a kitesurfing spot. You will not be bored during your days off and can enjoy many activities or discover the city and its cultural treasures. Horse riding, camel riding, mountain biking, quad biking, yoga, wakeboarding, cooking classes, discovering the Medina, local handicrafts, relaxing on the beach or by the pool... The activities of your free time are up to you but our team is there to give you advice and their best addresses.
